CD4 and CD20 as important immune markers in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis

Tuberculosis (TB) is a serious lung infection caused by the bacterium Mycobacterium tuberculosis ( M. ) highly contagious, and can be spread through air from an infected person to others. The aim of this article was evaluate immunological role CD4 CD20 in patients with multi-drug resistant (MDRTB). A total 182 individuals suspected admitted center AL-Najaf City, Iraq. sputum acid-fast stain performed for each individual GeneXpert® heminested real time PCR has been MDR- detection. have measurement serum using ELISA technique. Serum levels were significantly elevated (P<0.05) groups as compared control subjects. MDRTB group showed higher than group. This study that had relationship might used help diagnose TB.
